About Philip Nyren

Philip Nyren Menswear & Womenswear is Vancouver Island's premier retail clothing and accessories store for men and women.  It is located at 960 Yates Street in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.  We are just a few blocks east of the corner of Government and Yates Streets in the Harris Green neighbourhood.  We have a large, bright, 12,500 square foot store with ample free parking.  We carry a wide assortment of well known premium and designer Menswear and Womenswear brands.

Our store has a long history of selling quality Menswear in Victoria, previously doing business under the name British Importers from 1931 until September 2009.   British Importers has always been known for its high quality men's suits, ties, shirts and sportswear and Philip Nyren Menswear & Womenswear continues the tradition with expanded selections of fine quality men's footwear, premium denim and accessories.

Our present location opened September 1st, 2005 with a large selection of premium men's clothing and a small area of casual Womenswear.  Our Womenswear section started with a small area focused on denim, knitwear and outerwear.  Customer response to the small area of women's clothing was so positive, we quickly expanded and opened a larger area dedicated specifically to women's fashions.  Our Womenswear section now carries everything from evening wear to premium denim; including business attire, footwear, handbags, lingerie, jewellery and more.  Our Womenswear department is a fabulous counterpart to our well established Menswear department.

Philip Nyren Menswear & Womenswear has everything you need to put together a complete outfit for any occasion.  We carry high quality, designer fashions for a variety of different age groups and personalities.  We employ a dedicated team of knowledgeable Sales Associates and we pride ourselves on our customer service, which is second to none.
