December 17th, 2010 - Merry Christmas

santaThe weather's getting colder again, and I felt I'd freeze today, just crossing the street. It makes me wonder if it's going to be a white Christmas. I have so many memories of snow when I was a kid on the prairies. Fortunately, my Dad retired in his forties, and we moved back to Vancouver Island, and now those cold snowy times are mostly days gone by.

Regardless of where you live, and regardless of the kind of winter weather you like, I want to take a few lines here and say thank you to all the friends of the store. Not surprisingly, my personal friendships, with almost no exceptions, have been made through my work here. To those good friends, to the customers I haven't met yet, to everyone everywhere, please accept my most heart felt wishes for a happy, healthy and fulfilling Christmas season. And thank you so very much for your ongoing patronage, and your kindnesses to all of us here.

To quote Tiny Tim, God bless us, everyone.
