Friday, March 26 2010 - King Baby

On a recent buying trip I discovered a men's jewellery line out of LA called King Baby.

Designed and owned by Mitchell Binder, the studio is actually in Santa Monica, where his modern, edgy designs become beautifully handcrafted pieces of chunky, oversized sterling silver. He also uses gold, leather and, from time to time, precious stones.

Starting as a jeweller's apprentice at only 15 years old, Mitchell quickly graduated to designing his own pieces, and has now become the "go to jeweller" for Hollywood, rock stars and bikers of all types. He considers the origin of his company "half rock & roll and half outlaw biker."
